Costa decoration store asked us to prepare a functional online store for their diverse and rich assortment. The character of this store is best reflected by their own slogan: A place of inspiration. Costa formed along with the growing market of special events in Poland.


Project objective

The website was to clearly present the store's assortment and intuitively guide the user.

Our role

Our task was to design a comprehensive website. We decided to base its design on the Prestashop engine, which allows intuitive operation of the administration panel.


Diagnosis and tests

In recent years, thematic events have become widespread, which allowed to distinguish specific product categories taking into account their theme and present ready-made sets of products. This makes the customer's purchase path easier and frees them from the need to put effort into searching. Costa presents the store's offer, dividing products according to occasions, thematic motifs, rooms to be decorated and general categories.

Model low fidelity

One of the most important assumptions of the project was to facilitate access to products. The multitude of products available in the offer has been sorted so that the customer can easily find the item he is looking for and at the same time pay attention to related articles. The shopping cart is also an important element of the online store, that's why we decided on PrestaShop. Simplified steps of ordering and making payments will allow you to efficiently finalize the transaction – the PrestaShop engine is characterized by transparency of the purchase path.

Model high fidelity

All our assumptions agreed with the client were developed towards the final mock-up of the website. The website has a simple layout with clearly separated thematic sections.


Uploaded to a temporary domain, the project gradually received the missing content. At this stage, we checked the solutions we implemented in order to avoid any errors that could occur later.


The Costa store is based on three pillars: 1. Maximum convenience of choice. 2. Visibility of assortment and cross-selling. 3. Readability of payment and delivery information. In addition, the store is connected to the Sage Symfonia 2.0 invoicing system, which allows for convenient accounting management. In addition, BaseLinker, a system that integrates e-commerce tools, allows you to manage multiple platforms from one place.
